Greetings from Sarada Educational Society, a three-decade old NGO, registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, bearing registration no. 9/89 Dated 18-01-1989, constantly works for welfare and development ofthe under privileged families residing at slum areas in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States.
The Society is the brainchild of Dr. Koteshwara Rao, respectful Dad and Mr. Udaya Sankar, respectful spouse of Mrs. Padmavathi, Founder and Secretary of Sarada Educational Society. It was inaugurated by Mr. Katuri Narayana Swamy, the then Honorable Member of Parliament, Guntur Dist. Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh.
Sarada Society is committed to serve the community in the fields of Health, Education, Employment, Illiteracy, Empowering Women and Youth, Aged Widows and disabled irrespective of caste, community, religion, Color or gender. Our aim is to bring Social change among the poor to live and lead a happy and healthy life. Few of the programs mentioned below highlight our vision and objective towards needy communities.
Since the Inception of the society in 1989, the progression is as follows:
1989 to 2009:- Irrespective of Maoist prone area in Guntur Dist, Established and run a English Medium School from LKG to 10th class by deploying Kerala Teachers to serve distressed communities
1993-2009:- With the support of Central Tribal Department, New Delhi, Setup Tribal School and enrolled around 250 tribal students just in one year
1996-2009:- Established and run Padmavathi Junior College with Government Registration
2000-2009:- Setup Sarada Degree College for Women and successfully run three batches
Subsequently, In between, conducted numerous women safety awareness workshops, chalk piece and candle making setup, Phenol and washing powder production units and marketed on behalf of them, to provide livelihood forever.
Switching over from Guntur to Hyderabad in 2009, till date, as a signature of our services, more than 2500 beneficiaries with different age groups have been empowered with appropriate education, Vocational training programs, homemade product making, leads to the successful career launchthat pilot most of them for happy and prosperous life.
With the help of self-procured financial aid from personal sources and kind support from honorable donors, year by year, society extends its support and encouragement at every corner for the benefit of un-recognized segments.
Adding other feather to our hat, Sarada Educational Society is prestigiously launched a new primary school on 27th Feb 2021, at Jawahar Nagar, Hyderabad, to educate children of migrant people of Northern and Southern states. It’s a free education, food, and accommodation project. Identifying migrant labors across the country and providing quality education to child at one location is first of its kind program in Hyderabad offered by Society.
Rejuvenated with the encouragement from the public, blessings from the beneficiaries and continuous requests from other distressed and under privileged community groups, Sarada Educational Society is planning to extend its wings to other value-added programs to all the needy communities from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States.
